City of Visalia Transit Maintenance and Operations Facility

The new building consisted of two repair bays and expansion of the chassis wash area. The site improvements included 98,000 SF of concrete and AC paving and installation of two new entrances/approaches with electric gates.

CM Construction Services was hired by the City of Visalia to perform forensic construction management on a 3,800 SF addition to the existing facility after the City's project manager was retired. Our team worked closely with the City, the architectural/engineering team, and testing labs to help resolve failing asphalt paving, drainage issues, and maintenance equipment change orders.

The CMCS team was also able to successfully troubleshoot the Phase I controls and gas detection systems in a timely manner to enable Phase II work to be completed.
