City of Visalia Transit Center Expansion

Visalia Transit, East Oak Avenue, Visalia, CA, USA

This expansion of the City’s centrally located and highly visible transit center included 12 bus bays, four pedestrian shelters, two storage buildings, a solar-powered lighting system, a public plaza with decorative paving, tiles and fountain, and decorative reinforced concrete paving on all bus lanes. CMCS was hired to manage completion of the project, which required research and analysis to determine the source of identified construction problems. As a result, all repairs were made as needed, at no additional cost to the City of Visalia. Construction cost: $1.33 million.
